Gravel Hill is a specialist supported living care service for adults.

Situated in Croydon, South London the property is made up of 1 self-contained flat and 4 ensuite bedrooms accessing shared living spaces. The service is spacious and furnished to a high specification with well equipped kitchens and a living/dining area. All rooms are equipped with a call point system so that support can be called for at the touch of a button. 

Our experienced team have been trained to meet the needs of the wide range of complex needs at Gravel Hill, providing 24-hour support to the people who use our services.

Our person-led approach is driven through bespoke support plans and outcomes for people. Where required, our ethos of delivering support through the fundamental principles of Positive Behaviour Support is also in place. The aim of our PBS framework is not merely to reduce levels of challenging behaviour for people, but to improve quality of life.

We understand that all the people we support have different needs, so alongside their key workers, families, and medical professionals, we ensure that the support we provide is bespoke in every detail. Each person has a comprehensive support plan which covers every aspect of their care and support, taking in to account any concerns and issues that may arise and ensuring all needs and requirements are met enabling them to live the very best life possible.

The property has been fully refurbished and renovated to meet the needs of residents who have various physical and complex needs. The ground floor flat benefits from their own separate access and wheelchair accessible living including a wet room bathroom. The main property offers spacious ensuite accommodation with wet rooms and large communal living and kitchen areas. The property has off road and on street parking and large well established gardens to the rear.

We look after the person as a whole, caring for their wants and needs, both physically and emotionally, fostering an environment of personal growth, inclusion, honesty and integrity, leading our tenants to live the most rewarding lives.

A key worker will meet with each tenant each month on a one-to-one basis to discuss their goals and aspirations. These sessions will be for any concerns or issues they may have and to provide support and communication. In these sessions, they can plan and carry out leisure, employment, and college activities if this will be pro-active towards their targets.  We can also provide support with relationships and budgeting if required. Our tenants will have a dedicated member of staff to communicate with, however all staff are available to always help.

We have completely reconfigured and renovated the building to ensure all facilities are high-quality and fit-for-purpose.

24-hour staff team

All tenants have access to our 24-hour support team. We’re here for whatever they need, whenever they need it. 

Communal areas

Communal lounges, kitchens and dining spaces are where tenants can come together to socialise.

Outside spaces

The garden area is safe and secure and looks backs onto the beautiful Addington Park, which provides stunning views.

Close to town

We’re situated close to local amenities with excellent public transport links allowing us to provide supervised travel when needed.
