Live out or live in home care services throughout the UK.

We have over 25 years of specialist experience in providing high-quality complex care for people in their own homes. Our packages of care are tailored to fit with each person’s care needs, preferences and lifestyle. Through our care in the home services we support children, young people and adults with a wide range of conditions, including: brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory conditions and gastro-intestinal conditions, including percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) feeding.

We don’t just look after the clinical needs of the people we support. We look after the whole person, and that includes their personal, social and emotional needs.

Through a holistic and innovative approach to care in all our services, we place the individual at the heart of everything we do.

We work really hard to understand everyone from the start, so we can design a personalised care plan that’s aligned with all their needs and preferences, and unlocks their potential.

We pride ourselves on the fact our care extends beyond the individual to their wider family and friends, as we understand the wider impact complex conditions can have.

We know that offering highly-flexible, personalised support can make a difference not just to the person with the condition, but to their family and friends as well. By empowering people to live more independently in our care and to feel happy and safe, we are not only improving their quality of life, but those around them too.

Everyone at Active Care group is committed to providing evidence-based high-quality care to help each individual achieve personal goals and the best outcomes. This allows our clients and service users to live the best quality of life possible, enabling them to follow their ambitions and dreams.

  • Respect: we listen, engage and value people
What Paul says:
Prior to finding Active Care Group, there wasn’t a company who supported spinal injuries for people in their own homes. That’s why I love Active Care Group! I like to see my PAs as friends, we do all sorts of fun activities and all my needs are taken care of, I get to live life on my terms with a helping hand when needed.

What Timothy says:
Since I've had my carer visit my home I have been able to learn lots of new activities and skills, we paint a lot which I find really fun, although sometimes my paintings get a little messy! Thanks to everyone at Active Care Group for helping me learn new skills!

What Rachael says:
Staff help me to be independent by just doing the work they do. If my family had to care for me, I wouldn’t be independent. With a carer I can live alone, away from my family, how I choose to.

What Marc says:
A very hardworking and special PA who has enriched my life and I've found so many new skills and activities I enjoy.
