We are delighted to announce that Westcountry Case Management, part of Active Care Group, has won ‘Case Management Firm of the Year’ at the 2023 NR Times Awards.
The NR Times Awards were launched this year to recognise and celebrate the outstanding practice, innovation, and dedication from those working across the field of neuro-rehab in changing the lives of patients, both now and into the future.
For the ‘Case Management Firm of the Year’ category, judges were looking for firms who are making their own contribution to a dynamic and forward-thinking direction of case management, working collaboratively to deliver the care, support, and rehabilitation client needs, placing the client at the heart of everything and securing life-changing outcomes.
Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, Westcountry Case Management was established over 20 years ago. They are at the forefront of innovation in the case management industry, pushing boundaries to ensure their clients receive the best possible outcomes. Westcountry has 35 case managers of which 5 are advanced BABICM members, and over 200 clients and 140 support workers. With 25 occupational therapists, 2 social workers, 4 physiotherapists and 2 nurses working within the organisation as senior management and case manager, plus 6 assistant case managers, they hold comprehensive expertise and specialisms to be able to break new ground. They are inventive, having been pioneers in a new way of using communication for daily care record and audits, incident forms and feedback.
