Each year we aim to produce a patient outcome report for our brain injury rehabilitation services. We use a range of evidence-based outcomes measures to obtain an objective measure of our interventions. We are delighted to share our latest outcomes report for Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre which shows that our patients make good progress with over three quarters of our patients being discharged to home to live either independently or with a package of care.
Other key highlights:
- 44% return home to live independently
- Patients were more independent on discharge compared with on admission
- Patients made improvements both cognitively and physically
