- Bespoke care
- Supporting independence

We have over 25 years of specialist experience in providing high-quality complex care for people in their own homes.
Through our care in the home services we support children, young people and adults with a wide range of conditions, including: brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory conditions and gastro-intestinal conditions including PEG feeding.
“Prior to finding Active, there wasn’t a company who supported spinal injuries for people in their own homes. That’s why I love Active Care Group! I like to see my PA’s as friends.”

Tailored packages of care
We design tailored packages of care to fit with each person’s care needs, preferences and lifestyle. By providing bespoke one on one support we help our clients live positive, independent and active lives.
We’re committed to providing evidence-based high-quality care to help each individual achieve personal goals and the best outcomes. We also work with other client support organisations to provide a wider network of support.
“I have a bespoke care routine that suits my needs and has been adapted to my needs. The carers all follow it in the way I want.”

Expert care bespoke to you
Our expert care team delivers consistent, person-centred support to an individual on either a ‘live in’ or ‘live out’ basis.
Live in care and support
A ‘live in’ Personal Assistant (PA) lives with you in your own home and allows you, or your family member, to stay in familiar surroundings with one to one support that helps you to be more independent and live your best life.
PA’s duties may include getting you in and out of bed, washing, dressing, cleaning, shopping, toileting and general everyday living activities, and specialist clinical tasks such as bowel management and tracheostomy care. It may also be necessary to accompany you to work, social events and appointments or even on holiday. Our PAs are there to help you do what you want to do, be it preparing your favourite meal, or going out shopping, and you will be encouraged to do as much as you can for yourself.
Live out care and support
A ‘live out’ Personal Assistant (PA) allows you to live in your own home within familiar surroundings with access to care delivered daily or weekly to meet your personal needs.
A live out Personal Assistant will work one to one, or as part of a team, to support you in your own home with personal tasks and activities supporting you to be more independent and active.
PA’s duties may include getting you in and out of bed, washing, dressing, cleaning, shopping, toileting and general everyday living activities, as well as clinical tasks such as bowel management and tracheostomy care. It may also be necessary to accompany you to work, social events and appointments or even on holiday. Or, in the case of a child, the PA may accompany to school or college and will work closely with families.
The live out PA, will work shift patterns based on your needs; days, waking nights or sleeping nights and will be recruited specifically to work with you, or perhaps work with a small number of people in a specific area of the country.
Highly trained best in class staff
We recruit staff that positively embrace our values. Our innovative and rigorous recruitment process means we only select the most committed and motivated PAs to work with our clients.
All of staff are highly skilled and these skills are re-enforced through our highly acclaimed and award-winning training programmes.
Because of our experience of delivering support to both adults, children and younger people means we are also able to transition younger people to adult services and maintain continuity of care in a way other care providers can’t.
We employ a Clinical Team who supervise the service we provide, each with specialist skills and knowledge relevant to the client group we support. Our clinical experts work with the NHS, CCG’s, local authorities and other stakeholders to provide the highest quality continuing healthcare in the community. Structured, well-planned home healthcare is both safer for service users and more cost effective than hospital care.
