Quality
We believe that better quality
care leads to a better quality of life.
That’s why we’re committed to harnessing the clinical, personal and therapeutic skills and knowledge of our expert team to raise standards and achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.
Delivering outstanding
care and service
Our vision is to be the leading care provider that works effectively in partnership with our stakeholders, delivering high quality integrated health and care services.
We have put in place a range of measures to establish a robust integrated Quality and Governance strategy. This ensures everyone has a clear understanding of how the Group’s systems support the delivery of safe, high quality care, and we fully use the invaluable capabilities and expertise of the Montreux Healthcare Advisory Board and Clinical Governance and Quality Board to advise and promote high quality safe practices - please view our Governance Statement in pdf format.
To ensure we deliver the highest quality care we...
- Actively identify and share good practice, quality improvement, and innovation
- Continuously share learning from improvement actions
- Have clarity and openness in measuring and sharing our performance
- Invite feedback from stakeholders, in particular service users, carers, staff and commissioners
- Celebrate and share our successes

“Improving the quality of outcomes and experience is central to everything we do.”
Care Quality Commission
Our agreed strategic goals define what we want our organisation to achieve. We have aligned them with the five domains of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection standards. We have a unique, diversified capability across residential homes, care in the home and case management services. We have predominately Outstanding and Good CQC ratings.
Although our main regulatory body is CQC, Active Care Group is also registered with other regulatory bodies, including Ofsted, Care Inspectorate Wales and Care Inspectorate Scotland.
