On 2nd October 2023, the team at Kings Norton Hospital, our 32-bed Acute Mental Health Service in Birmingham, were delighted to be visited by esteemed guest speaker, Professor Ramalingam Chithiramohan, who presented a lecture focused on Negative Symptoms in Schizophrenia and Evidence-based Combination Treatments. The lecture was shared with medical colleagues at our other Acute Mental Health Service, Holybourne Hospital in London as part of Active Care Group’s Medical Academic Programme.

He is a visiting Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Madras and has been a Clinical Tutor and Director Medical Education for many years. He has served on the Court of Electors and the Council of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
