Clients and team members from Northern Case Management hosted an event to raise money for Day One Trauma Support.
The event included an array of homemade treats including biscuits, cornflake cakes and hot chocolate. It was lovely for the clients to get together while supporting a fantastic charity.
Day One Trauma Support provides practical and emotional support, including legal and financial advice, emergency funding, counselling, and peer support. The vision of the charity is that everyone affected by major physical trauma is supported to navigate the challenges that they and their families face without feeling alone. The charity supports major trauma patients and their loved ones from day one on the ward, and for as long as they need them.
So far, the Northern Case Management team and their clients have raised £50 for Day One Trauma Support, which Aviva will double in their festive promise to the charity to double any donations made under £250.
