The intrepid Active Care Group team complete the Headway Go Wild Challenge!
A five person team with participants from across the Active Care Group completed the two day activity challenge in the Lake District.
The fearless team took part in some exhilarating challenges including zip-wiring, abseiling, scrambling and jumping off a 30ft waterfall, all in aid of Headway – the brain injury association.
Headway is a charity close to the heart of our staff team who see first-hand the importance of this charity’s invaluable work.
Headway provide support to many of Active Care Group’s brain injury clients and we often refer clients to Headway for additional advice and support.
All funds raised from the challenge go towards Headway’s national frontline services which provide vital support to those affected by brain injury; such as their Helpline, Headway Acute Trauma Support Nurses, information resources, Headway’s Emergency Fund and Justice Project.
The Active Care Group are hoping to raise over £2000 and there is still time to support them, either individually or as a team here.
