We are delighted to announce that Mike Aldridge has joined Active Care Group as our Chief Operating Officer, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience and a proven track record of driving business growth and leading transformational change.
Most recently, Mike served as the UK Operations Director at Travelodge, where he oversaw two years of record-breaking performance. He has also held senior positions at renowned companies such as Costa Coffee, Mitchells & Butlers, Pizza Express, Pizza Hut, and Greene King, where he successfully developed and led high-performing operational teams.
In his new role at Active Care Group, Mike will lead our Residential Division, focusing on driving improvements and growth. He will work closely with Lisa Cairns, Managing Director of our South Region and Hospitals, and Annie Booth, Managing Director of our North Region, while continuing to support the company’s broader strategic objectives.
Mike is excited to join Active Care Group at this pivotal time and looks forward to connecting with teams across the organisation. His hands-on approach will see him visiting sites to understand the unique needs of each service, ensuring we collectively deliver outstanding results and the best possible outcomes for those in our care.

Beyond his corporate career, Mike was a Royal Marine for over a decade, an experience he is particularly proud of. He is also passionate about personal wellbeing, enjoying daily meditation and the challenge of personal training.
Mike is also eager to leverage his extensive experience in team development and engagement to help Active Care Group continue its journey of growth and excellence.
