We are pleased to announce that Michelle Freeman has been appointed Group Director of Nursing at Active Care Group.

Having taken on the role previously on an interim basis, Michelle will continue to provide strategic leadership for our nursing colleagues to provide quality care for our patients, residents and individuals we support.

A registered critical care nurse, Michelle qualified at St James University Hospital in Leeds. Michelle has also had several managerial and leadership roles across NHS hospitals and the independent healthcare sector.

Michelle was also the hospital director at Lane Fox Remeo Respiratory Centre in Surrey, our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility that offers highly specialised care for patients with chronic respiratory conditions.

Michelle is widely respected for her steadfast commitment to high-quality, safe, and patient-focused care, and her leadership style is defined by compassion, professionalism, and a deep dedication to empowering healthcare teams to deliver clinical excellence.
