Mayfield Road, our residential service in Surrey, has received an impressive “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following their latest inspection. They were rated good across all key lines of enquiry. Mayfield Road support residents with learning disabilities and autism and was commended for their safe, effective, and person-centred care.
The CQC report highlighted several key strengths, noting their commitment to providing high-quality care tailored to each resident’s individual needs. Inspectors praised the team’s dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment, emphasising how the staff work collaboratively with residents and their families to promote wellbeing and independence.
The report specifically noted that residents at Mayfield Road were treated with dignity and respect. Inspectors also highlighted how the service focuses on ensuring people have choices in their daily lives, which helps promote their autonomy. The environment was described as “homely” and well-maintained, with sufficient space and facilities to meet the needs of the people living there.
Mayfield Road’s leadership was another area of strength identified by the CQC. The report commended the effective management systems in place, which ensure that care is delivered consistently, and all team members are well-supported and trained to provide the highest standard of care. Furthermore, the team were praised for their professionalism, with the report noting that they are knowledgeable and responsive to the needs of residents.
