Our teams’ goal is to help our residents lead rich, rewarding, and meaningful lives — however that looks for them. Loyd House is a homely setting for residents to choose their daily activities and access a broad range of amenities, educational and occupational opportunities, as well as social and leisure pursuits. Whether residents like to enjoy a movie or karaoke night, take part in arts and crafts activities, have a picnic in the park, go to a local café, or even out on a day trip to a major attraction in London — all residents are given the chance to do what they wish to do and feel like they are part of the Loyd House family.
Our multi-disciplinary team take pride in ensuring a positive and dignified environment for all. Residents are supported as individuals and are encouraged to maintain relationships, follow their interests, and take part in personal hobbies such as flower arranging or painting. While having the opportunity to decide what they want to do each day and have a voice at regular meetings, residents are thoughtfully and compassionately supported by all staff.

All of the 17 bedrooms at Loyd House come with an en-suite bathroom, and we support residents to furnish their rooms in their own style with their own possessions around them. Four of the rooms form our transitional living unit on the top floor with a lounge area for residents who are ready for more independent living.
There is a lift for wheelchair users, and our communal lounge, activities room and dining room are welcoming spaces for residents to interact and spend time together in a community environment. The communal therapy kitchen offers cooking and laundry facilities for those who still require some support but have progressed further in their rehabilitation journey. Residents may spend time in the relaxing courtyard garden that is decked and has pots of beautiful flowers, while our fully equipped therapy room and therapy gym offer residents a focused place to work together with specialised therapists on their recovery and rehabilitation.
