Kingly Croft is a six-bed residential house located in Hinckley, Leicester for people over the age of 18 with an acquired brain injury or neurological condition. Our highly trained teams work with individuals around rehabilitation and enablement, supporting everyone to develop skills, gain independence and achieve personal goals in a way that suits them.

We understand that individuals respond best to a homely environment. This facilitates a regularity and normality of living both in the home and community, providing opportunities for activities which emphasise the highest possible quality of living for each person.

The team include therapy and rehabilitation into everyday activities; identifying and removing barriers to participation and creatively utilising meaningful and rewarding activities to benefit engagement, progression, and achievement of realistic potential.

Service users have access to an occupational therapist and we use the Positive Behaviour Support framework to support individuals who demonstrate behaviours of concern and to improve quality of life.

The house has five bedrooms, 3 with kitchenette facilities and two ground floor accessible bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. There is also one self-contained, open plan flat. There is a large communal lounge and large communal dining and kitchen area with large garden. Located within a thriving market town with excellent transport links, people are encouraged to access the wider opportunities both in and around their home.

Conditions we support, but are not limited to:

  • Brain injury
  • Progressive neurological conditions
  • People who require a slow rehabilitation service
