Fir Tree Lodge is a specialist supported living care service for adults.

Situated in the heart of Surrey, Fir Tree Lodge comprises six single occupancy self-contained apartments that have been transformed into a nurturing and homely environment of 24-hour support for adults with complex needs. Every day, our highly trained team dedicates themselves to providing person-centred care for tenants so they may become as independent as possible and lead rewarding lives.

Located close to local amenities and with excellent public transport links nearby, our teams can provide supervised travel as and when needed, ensuring all tenants are supported to access the wider opportunities both in and around their home.

Dedicated quality of life service

Our person-led approach is driven through tailored support plans and outcomes for tenants that entail our pathways ethos of delivering support through the fundamental principles of positive behaviour support (PBS). The aim of our PBS framework is to encourage each tenant’s aspirations, while improving quality of life for all and reducing levels of challenging behaviour and anxiety.

We understand that each tenant has unique preferences and requirements, which is why our service manager and team of support workers collaborate with key workers, families, and medical professionals to ensure the support we provide is person-centred in every detail and may empower tenants to navigate their way in society and become more integrated into local communities.

By caring for each tenant’s specific wants and needs, both physically and emotionally, tenants are enabled to live the most rewarding lives.

Bolstered with regular one-to-one discussions between tenants and our multi-disciplinary team members, our holistic and comprehensive supported living care service enables our tenants to grow in confidence and resilience. For instance, by supporting tenants with relationships and budgeting if required, or to plan and carry out leisure, employment, and college activities as part of their targets.

6 self-contained flats

Fir Tree Lodge is made up of three houses, each with two self-contained flats, with access to our multi-disciplinary team.

Purpose-built facilities

We have completely rebuilt the property to reconfigure the space to ensure all facilities are high-quality and fit-for-purpose.

24-hour staff team

All tenants have access to our 24-hour support team with a call point system. We’re here for whatever they need, whenever they need it.

Therapy kitchen

A brand new therapy kitchen to help individuals regain life skills and work towards independent living.

Outside spaces

The garden area is safe and secure enabling tenants to enjoy some outside space. Gravel Hill also backs onto the beautiful Addington Park.

Close to town

Near to local amenities with excellent public transport links meaning we can provide supervised access to the community where appropriate.
