At Buttons we provide specialist residential care for children and young people with complex health conditions, such as brain injuries, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities or other complex needs. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, our service provides a warm and nurturing environment, as well as a personalised care approach supported by highly trained teams.

We specialise in caring and supporting young people with complex health conditions.
The specialist team at Buttons put the children and young people at the heart of everything they do. Whether it be outings outside of the home, or time spent in the spacious garden, the children and young people at Buttons are supported to access opportunities and fun activities.
We foster an environment of inclusion, honesty and integrity and work closely with the child or young person’s family, as well as local Special Educational Needs Education teams and health professionals to create comprehensive support plans that cover every aspect of care and personal preferences. This allows children and young people in our care to feel safe, content, inspired and healthy. We promote and fulfil the company values of being caring, honest, pro-active, and empowering for those we support.

5 bedrooms
Buttons is deliberately small allowing us to provide specialist, holistic care and support for up to five residents at any one time. Three of the five bedrooms have ceiling track hoists.
Communal living space
Our communal living space is where our residents come together for activities and to interact in a community setting.
Communal dining area
Our spacious kitchen is where we encourage all residents to gather and interact at meal times to enjoy each others company.
Large garden area
The large accessible garden has covered seating so children and young people can spend time in a safe and secure environment.
Specialist child service
Buttons offers specialist child and young people’s care services which are regulated and inspected by Ofsted.
