Sutton

We specialise in supporting adults with physical or learning disabilities.

Situated in Wallington, Sutton, we provide support and guidance to seven service users who have epilepsy, learning disabilities and other medical conditions. At Brambledown, we treat each resident as an individual, listening to their wants and needs so we can tailor a package of care and environment which reflects our residents wishes.

Brambledown offers a wide range of individual and group activities, therapies and specialist support. This could include services such as art and music therapists, health practitioners and sessions with personal trainers. Each individual has a Key Worker assigned to them and has the opportunity to be fully involved in the development of their support plans. The support in place enables independence and positive mental and physical wellbeing with the needs, wants and wishes of the individuals at the forefront of everything we do.

We understand that all the people we support have different needs, so alongside their key workers, families, and medical professionals we ensure the support we provide is bespoke in every detail. Each person has a comprehensive support plan which covers every aspect of their care and support, taking in to account any concerns and issues that may arise and ensuring all needs and requirements are met enabling them to live the very best life possible.

Brambledown is just a short distance from Wallington town centre, with easy access to local facilities and amenities. Service users are encouraged to access activities in the community. Onsite facilities offer multiple communal areas for socialising, including a spacious kitchen and large conservatory.

Our people are supported to be as independent as possible and have an active role in the running of the house. Bedrooms are decorated and personal items incorporate the tastes and wishes of the individual. We hold monthly tenants meetings, which provide an opportunity to discuss forthcoming events and to ensure the smooth running of house and involvement for all.

There is a friendly, community feel to the service with our people enjoying spending time together with movie nights and karaoke, as well as having time to spend on individual activities.

Conditions we support, but are not limited to:

  • epilepsy
  • autism
  • profound learning difficulties
  • sensory impairment
  • neurological conditions
  • other complex needs
