Expert residential care and support for young adults with physical disabilities.

Situated in Dymchurch, Kent, we provide specialised care for young adults with physical disabilities. At Bethany House, we treat each resident as an individual, listening to their wants and needs so we can tailor a package of care alongside a warm and nurturing environment which reflects our residents wishes.

Bethany House can accommodate up to 15 residents. All rooms are single, en-suite with their own toilet and shower room and are furnished to the highest standards.

Staff training and development is a priority. Bethany House is recognised by Investors In People (IIP), which demonstrates our commitment to creating a learning environment for our staff.

We understand that all the people we support have different needs, so alongside their key workers, families, and medical professionals we ensure the support we provide is bespoke in every detail. Visiting therapists are available to provide physiotherapy, art, aromatherapy, reflexology and sport and beauty therapy. A full-time physio-aid assists the visiting physiotherapist.

There are lots of facilities available to residents including a hydrotherapy pool, a large workshop for arts and crafts, multi-sensory room and large garden.

Residents are encouraged to get involved in the community and there is a minibus available for transport.

A full-time activities organiser is employed with regular outings organised to local pubs, cinema, theatre, riding stables as well as in-house entertainment on a weekly basis.

Our wonderful team understand that a holistic approach is necessary to ensure those in our care are safe, happy, and healthy. We promote and fulfil the company values of being caring, honest, pro-active, and empowering for those we support.
