We provide specialist neurological rehabilitation for females.
Abington View is based in Northamptonshire, strategically neighbouring other Neurological Rehabilitation facilities Chrishtchurch View and Loyd house, in which we work in close partnership. Our goal is to provide personalised transitional care to our female residents where they are able to live increasingly independently, with the support of staff available 24/7.
We’re a specialist transitional service meaning our care and support is less intensive as we guide our residents to a more independent life as they become more capable of carrying out everyday tasks. Through personalised care plans we’re able to maximise each resident’s independence allowing them to work towards their goals. In most cases, the residents at Abington View have gone through rehabilitation at our neighbouring Christchurch View or Lloyd House services.
We look to build upon the progress residents have already made and provide them with key life skills, with each resident having access to an interdisciplinary care team consisting of a Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant, Neuropsychology, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, as required.
Abington View is located close to local shops and supermarkets, the park and amenities, so resident’s benefit from social, occupational and educational opportunities in an ideal setting for specialist community based transitional rehabilitation.
