Kingly House and Kingly Croft, our neurological residential services in Leicestershire, held an open day recently to showcase their newly refurbished facilities. The event provided visitors, including local healthcare professionals, as well as family and community members, with the opportunity to explore the centre’s updated environments, which has been carefully designed to improve patient care and recovery outcomes.

Among the attendees was Councillor Linda Mullaney, who praised Kingly House and Kingly Croft for their dedication to enhancing neurological care within the area.

The refurbishments include a range of new features, from state-of-the-art therapy rooms and specialised equipment to enhanced living spaces and communal areas, all aimed at creating a comfortable and supportive environment for individuals recovering from complex neurological conditions. Key additions include a sensory room for cognitive rehabilitation, and modernised treatment spaces which play a vital role in patients’ physical recovery.

Both teams and the residents conducted guided tours, explaining the new facilities and the cutting-edge therapies they offer. These tours also highlighted the centres’ person-centred approach, which tailors rehabilitation programmes to each individual’s unique needs.

Ida Chatburn, Service Manager at Kingly House and Kingly Croft, expressed her excitement about the improvements. “Our goal is to provide the best possible care, and these refurbishments allow us to offer an even higher standard of service. We’re proud to show how we are advancing neurological rehabilitation in Leicestershire,” she said.

Kingly House and Kingly Croft’s newly refurbished service is now fully operational, continuing their mission to support individuals recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and other neurological conditions.
