Kibblesworth, our neurological rehabilitation and residential service in Gateshead, has achieved the highest food hygiene rating of five stars from Gateshead Council.
Gateshead Council is part of the National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS), which helps people with information about the hygiene standards on food premises when inspected. The FHRS also encourages organisations such as the Active Care Group to improve their compliance standards with legal requirements.
The five-star rating follows from the previous rating of four-star in 2018.
Registered Manager Kayleigh Wonnacott was delighted with the five-star rating, stating, “The rating is reflection of the care and attention to detail our chef brings to preparing meals of the highest standards for our residents.”
The kitchen team was equally delighted. The chef at Kibblesworth added, “We are committed to providing our residents with well-prepared meals, and the five-star rating shows our dedication to our work”.
