Larah and Kelly at Liberty Court have spent the last 4 weeks making the garden look more sensory. Larah is a resident at Liberty Court and it was her initial idea to paint the bench.
Kelly and Larah are both now feeling super proud of their design skills!
Larah said: “It not only looks nice, but it’s also cool because the top was painted with special chalkboard paint so we can all write and doodle on it!!
“I really enjoyed this project as I love artwork. Painting is very therapeutic and I wanted to make the garden more sensory. We also added DVD discs to the trees to get that therapeutic sensory affect!”
