Our residents at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit went on an adventure to the Bristol Aquarium!
Activity Coordinators, Olivia, Nicolas Lecaros and Amy Black organised the day. Seven residents, with some of their young students on work experience week, who are currently studying a health and social care course, also enjoyed the special day out. Everyone had a great time – those smiles say it all!
Olivia said: “We got to see different sea creatures from across the globe, including the ocean life around Britain, warmer seas where there are corals and more exotic animals such as stingrays, and sharks. We enjoyed learning about the ocean life together and simply taking in the beauty of nature!“
Here’s what the resident’s thought of their day:
“What a fantastic day! The stingrays are the ones I liked most, silky and soft. Lovely!”
Pat
“It was fun to get out and see something so different!”
