We are proud to announce our finalists for this year’s Night of the Stars, an extraordinary celebration recognising the individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond to make a lasting impact on the people they work with and the patients, residents and individuals they support.

Finalists will join us at this year’s Night of the Stars awards evening on Monday, 1st December 2025, for an unforgettable evening of recognition, reflection, and celebration in honour of the incredible people who make Active Care Group shine.

Recognising Greatness Across the Group

This year, we received an exceptional 2,026 nominations across our three awards programmes, the Stars of the Group, Leadership Awards, and Your Choice Awards.

Each nomination told a powerful story of dedication, teamwork, passion, leadership, kindness and care, highlighting the pride and appreciation our colleagues have for one another. It’s inspiring to see so many people take the time to celebrate those who truly embody the spirit and behaviours of Active Care Group.

The Heart of Active Care Group – Our People

The Night of the Stars is more than an awards evening; it’s a reflection of who we are. From newcomers making an immediate impact to teams driving innovation and excellence, and leaders who inspire by example, these awards recognise those who live our behaviours, champion our culture, and make a difference every single day.

Our finalists represent the very best of Active Care Group, people who lead with kindness, act with integrity, and deliver outstanding care to the people we support.

Special Recognition: CEO Choice Award

In addition to our core award categories, including the divisional Star of the Group, Leadership Awards, and Your Choice Awards, Keith Browner, Chief Executive Officer, will present the prestigious CEO Choice Award, the highest individual honour within Active Care Group.

This award recognises an exceptional individual who exemplifies our core behaviours, demonstrates unwavering commitment to outstanding outcomes for the people we support, and embodies integrity and compassion.

Last year, this special award was presented to Karen Liddle, a Chef at our children’s service, Granville Lodge, where she designed and painted the most remarkable sea world mural in the children’s bathroom when she wasn’t cooking. The mural was created with much thought to stimulate children’s imagination, making bathtime enjoyable, relaxing and an exceptional experience.

A Night to Remember

The Night of the Stars promises to be a truly memorable celebration, a night of recognition, inspiration, and pride in everything we achieve together.

We can’t wait to come together to celebrate our finalists, share their incredible stories, and shine a light on the people who make Active Care Group an extraordinary place to work and grow.
