We’re delighted to share that Anna Barwinek, our Support Worker in our Care in the Home division, won Specialist Carer of the Year at the National Care Awards 2025.

The awards, which took place on 7 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, are the largest in the UK care sector, recognising excellence across care homes, domiciliary care, specialist care, suppliers, and more.

Anna’s award is a recognition of her nearly two decades of work supporting our Care in the Home clients.

Alongside her work with individuals and families, Anna recently published “Still Here, Still You,” a guide designed to help those adjusting to life after a spinal cord injury.

Everyone at Active Care Group is incredibly proud of Anna and her dedication to understanding and meeting the unique needs of each client.
