The Executive Roadshow have been on the move again, bringing our executive team closer to the heart of our services nationwide. In 2024, our executive team was hosted by services in the North West and North East.
In March 2025, some of our executive team, including Chief Executive Officer Keith Browner, Chief Financial Officer Katy Lineker, Chief Operating Officer Mike Aldridge, Chief Commercial Officer Adrian Harrison, Chief Medical Officer Dr Amit Chatterjee, Chief People Officer Karen Langton and Managing Director for the South region Erica Pryce embarked on a two-day roadshow across the Midlands.
Here’s the story of how the two days unfolded.
Day One
Birmingham was the first destination, with the initial stop at our Adult Acute Mental Health Hospital, King’s Norton Hospital. Hospital Director Craig Ward, Medical Director Yousuf Zakaria, and Operations Director Glen Bristol hosted the visit.
The visit also coincided with an open day at the service, with local commissioners in attendance and esteemed guests such as the Birmingham Mayor and Mayoress. While touring the service, everyone could see the high standard of accommodation and the staff’s level of skill and professionalism. The executive team also discussed exciting plans to create a new gym for the patients and improve the outdoor spaces.
A few miles across Birmingham, the team visited Neurological Rehabilitation Service Hunters Moor, hosted by Service Director Rob Cheetham and Operations Director Jodie Maloney, who spoke about the significant progress at the service. They were then shown the new tracheostomy rooms by Matron Megan Nannfeldt.
Day Two
Day two began with a visit to James House Albrighton, where the executive met with one of our case management companies, AJ Case Management, Onboarding, and the regional Care in the Home team. The offices were brimming with people, and the executive team participated in a question-and-answer session discussing the organisation’s strategic direction and learning more about CEO Keith Browner’s passion for his role.
A few miles further, the team visited our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Hospital, Ivetsey Bank Hospital, hosted by Hospital Director Andy Caine, Medical Director Triveni Joshi and Operations Director Glen Bristol. Congratulations were in order as Ivetsey has been awarded a contract to open an innovative 6-bed Admissions and Triage unit. Building works are due to commence, and the executive team were able to walk through how this would transform the service. The tour was extra special; four young people showed the executive team around the wards and heard firsthand about the caring, compassionate, and expert care they receive.
The tour concluded at the Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, where the team met newly appointed service manager Jessica Waterhouse. Jessica recently joined Active Care Group from the local NHS Integrated Care Board and is supporting the service in consolidating its reputation with this important funder.
The executive team reflected on the tour and discussed the improvements made across the group. They were inspired by the passion and dedication of the colleagues at Active Care Group, who are committed to making further progress.
Congratulations to Team ACG for continuing to make such an extraordinary impact!
