Active Care Group’s Case Management division is proud to announce that Whe elPower will be its additional chosen charity for 2025. Following a successful partnership with Day One Trauma Support in 2024, the division is committed to supporting Day One Trauma Support again, alongside WheelPower.

WheelPower is a charity that provides opportunities for people living with disabilities to enjoy a range of wheelchair sports, including tennis, basketball, and athletics. They promote physical activity and improve their quality of life. With a shared goal of improving lives, the collaboration between Active Care Group and WheelPower will focus on fundraising, raising awareness, and supporting the charity’s efforts to provide more opportunities for people living with disabilities to participate in sport and recreation.

Our Managing Director of the Case Management Division, Janette Wynn shared “We are thrilled to have WheelPower as the Case Management Division’s second charity of the year. Their focus on integrating sport into a client’s journey can have a profoundly positive impact, and we are proud to support their efforts. We look forward to fundraising and providing volunteers for events, helping WheelPower continue the amazing work they do.”

The Case Management division will host a variety of fundraising events, charity initiatives, and campaigns over the course of 2025 to support WheelPower. In addition to financial support, the division is excited to work closely with WheelPower to raise awareness of the impact of wheelchair sports and the benefits of an active lifestyle for people living with disabilities.

WheelPower Chief Executive, Martin McElhatton OBE said “WheelPower are delighted to be one of Active Care Group’s charities of the year and we look forward to working closely with the team to raise funds and awareness to support our vital work to transform the lives of disabled people through Movement, Activity and Sport.  WheelPower provides wonderful programmes and events for young and newly disabled people and the support from everyone at the Active Care Group will help us to increase our reach and help more disabled people live active lives.”

As a part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, Active Care Group is honoured to contribute to a charity whose work is transforming the lives of so many people. The partnership with WheelPower highlights the Case Management division’s focus on promoting inclusivity and supporting those with physical disabilities, both in the field of rehabilitation and in everyday life.

We look forward to working alongside WheelPower in 2025 and making a meaningful difference.
