Active Care Group is delighted to announce that Keith Browner, Chief Executive Officer and Dr Amit Chatterjee, Chief Medical Officer of Active Care Group and Managing Director of Active Neuro, part of Active Care Group, have been shortlisted in the HealthInvestor Power List 2025.

The HealthInvestor Power List celebrates the most effective, inspiring and influential leaders in health and social care.

Keith has been nominated in the Specialist and Complex Care Leader category. This category recognises senior leaders in complex or specialist care (e.g. healthcare services designed for individuals with significant health, medical, or social needs) who stand out as agents of change and growth at a key time for the sector.

Since joining Active Care Group in 2023, Keith has embedded innovation through digital care records and telehealth, championed staff wellbeing and recognition initiatives and raised standards across CQC (Care Quality Commission) ratings. For example, Active Care Group services that have been inspected in the last 12 months, 100% have all been rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’, taking our overall ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ rating across all our services to 96%.

Amit has been recognised for his work in the One to Watch – Healthcare Executive (e.g., upcoming CEOs, CFOs, COOs, etc.) category. This category recognises standout talent in CxO-level individuals working in for-profit healthcare senior management for less than five years, who display exceptional promise and leadership potential.

Since 2022, Amit has been the Chief Medical Officer at Active Care Group and has recently taken on the role of Managing Director of Active Neuro, a part of Active Care Group.

Under his direction, Active Neuro has launched state-of-the-art rehabilitation centres in Kent, Gateshead and York, each designed to deliver premium neurological rehabilitation for patients recovering from brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and degenerative conditions. His vision is to create services that combine the expertise of multidisciplinary clinical teams with the latest rehabilitation technologies, offering up to five hours of therapy per day within structured care pathways.

The awards ceremony will take place on December 3, 2025, at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square, where winners will be celebrated for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the healthcare sector.

Congratulations to Keith and Amit on this fantastic recognition and good luck to all the nominees!
