We’re pleased to showcase that Active Care Group are leading the way within the health and social care sector in relation to CQC (Care Quality Commission) quality ratings. Out of the Active Care Group services that have been inspected in the last 12 months, 100% have been rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’, taking our overall ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ rating across all our services to 96%.

Significant investment in our services over the last 2 years has enhanced the quality of care through targeted improvements to service environments, staffing, and digital infrastructure. Refurbishment projects have transformed many of our care settings, creating more comfortable, safe, and therapeutic spaces for the individuals we support, patients, residents and clients.
At the same time, we have strengthened our workforce with increased recruitment, comprehensive training, and leadership development to ensure our teams are well-equipped to deliver consistently high standards of care.
Upgrades to our digital systems have improved clinical oversight, streamlined communication, and enabled more responsive, data-informed decision-making across services. Together, these investments reflect our ongoing commitment to quality, safety, and innovation.
Keith Browner, Chief Executive Officer, said, “It is a great achievement to see that the investment in our services and colleagues has resulted in ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings with the CQC. Our significant improvements underpin our goal of achieving better outcomes for the people we support. We will continue to transform our services, provide person-centred care and hire the best people to provide that care.”
