Active Care Group is pleased to announce the launch of its Expert Witness service across the UK and Ireland. As the UK’s leading Case Management group, we launched this service using our years of Expert Witness experience across our 11 Case Management companies. The service aims to build on our existing industry-respected Expert Witness work across multiple disciplines.
Expert Witnesses provide objective insights during a litigation process based on their professional expertise and experience. Their job is to assist the court to understand the complex information in a legal case.
Our expert witness service will provide an individual approach to all children, young people, and adults who have experienced catastrophic injuries due to personal injury or clinical negligence.
To accompany the launch of our new Expert Witness service, we have created a distinct brand identity, including a specially designed logo. The new branding reflects the professionalism that our Expert Witness services are known for. It was developed to differentiate this service while maintaining a strong connection to Active Care Group’s core values.
Our team comprises experienced clinicians specifically trained to undertake expert witness instructions, and we are therefore delighted to announce Helen Wall’s appointment as Head of Expert Witness.
Head of Expert Witness
Helen is a dual-qualified Registered General Nurse and Health Visitor with extensive experience across Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary care. She is completing a master’s in legal studies and holds a Specialist Practitioner Community Health Award in Public Health Nursing degree. Helen is also qualified to teach and assess in clinical practice and is a registered Nurse Prescriber.
Since 2014, Helen has worked in the medico-legal sector, managing complex cases, including high-profile human rights issues, medical device failures, clinical negligence claims, and catastrophic injury cases. She also has significant experience handling class action cases.
