Active Care Group is proud to announce its membership with the Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) as an official Academy Member – a significant step in our continued investment in nursing excellence across the Group.
This exciting development marks a new chapter for our nurses as they gain access to world-class leadership development, networking opportunities, and resources to support their professional growth. The Florence Nightingale Foundation is a leading UK charity dedicated to promoting health, enhancing care, and advancing nursing and midwifery through leadership, education, and policy influence.
At Active Care Group, we recognise that our nurses are the heart of everything we do. From our adult mental health services to neurological rehabilitation, their skills, compassion, and leadership drive the high standards of care we deliver daily.
Through our membership, nurses will gain access to policy roundtables, leadership development via the Emerging Leaders Programme, and eligibility for the DAISY Award. They can also benefit from free online learning, discounted training, and CPD opportunities and connect with peers at events like the Member Symposium and the annual Westminster Abbey commemoration.
Michelle Freeman, Group Director of Nursing at Active Care Group, shared her enthusiasm:
“I am thrilled to announce our new membership with the Florence Nightingale Foundation.
The foundation strongly advocates nursing and midwifery issues, providing a valuable platform for nurses to connect, share knowledge, and influence healthcare practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity, so please take the time to explore the resources and programs available to you. I look forward to seeing more ACG nurses graduate from the Florence Nightingale Academies and make a significant impact in the healthcare field.”
We’re excited to see our membership empower our nurses to continue leading with compassion, purpose, and professionalism.
