Active Care Group announces acquisitions of Christchurch Group and Bethany Lodge
Active Care Group are delighted to announce the recent acquisitions of Christchurch Group and Bethany Lodge.
Christchurch Group is a market leading neuro-rehabilitation business, comprised of 10 specialist facilities with 136 beds situated in proximity to major trauma centres across the UK. The Christchurch Group services are Headway accredited, the only provider in the country to receive this accolade across all of its sites, with all facilities expected to be rated Good or Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. Christchurch Group have proven pathways from case management, through rehabilitation and into our residential settings, making the acquisition a natural fit with ACG.
Bethany Lodge & Bethany House are purpose-built care homes specialising in the care of young adults with a physical disability, including: acquired brain injury, congenital disorder and degenerative illnesses. The Kent based services provide 39 placements, with facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, a large arts and crafts workshop and a multi-sensory room.
Whilst maintaining their specialisms, both companies will be integrated into the Active Care Group’s Residential Services division.
