Ronald, one of the residents at Rowland House, used to be a fire fighter.

So because he’s performed well in fire drills, the service manager Georgina Green, thought it would be a good idea to award him an honorary ‘Fire Marshall’ responsibility within the home.

Ronald was ecstatic, as you can see from the photos, to be given this title, as well as his vest, badge and certificate. They are hoping this will keep his memories alive from when he was an active fire fighter.
