Seventy guests from across our south residential and supported living services attended a heartwarming and joyful winter wonderland themed event in Wallington with music, laughter, and festive cheer.
Residents, tenants, colleagues and clients from , Brambledown Road, Clareville Lodge, Cranley Gardens, Foxley Lane, Hall Road, Liberty Court, Mayfield Road, Prospect Court and Russell Hill attended their Christmas party at St Patricks Church on Friday 20 December.
The DJ kept the festive spirit going throughout the afternoon, playing a mix of Christmas tunes and had everyone tapping their feet. Guests enjoyed a variety of non-alcoholic drinks and food, which brought everyone together to share in the Christmas spirit.
Brambledown Road’s idea for a fashion competition was a huge success. People arrived dressed in their finest attire and the competition was fiercely festive, with prizes being awarded to the best dressed, bringing an extra element of excitement to the celebration. First prize went to a tenant from Liberty Court, second place to a resident from Russell Hill and third place was a group win for some residents from Brambledown Road.
Staff and residents brought along games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Coupled with the lively music and festive decorations, there was no shortage of entertainment throughout the day.
The church was decorated festively, creating a welcoming and cheerful environment.
Each resident received a small gift as a token of appreciation for their attendance, adding a thoughtful and heartfelt touch to the day.
The event was a resounding success, bringing residents, staff, and families together for an unforgettable afternoon of Christmas cheer.
